Well hells bells I struck gold in Kansas! This was an all day affar: 3 generations of family selling their farm estate and all the goodies inside. Pictured above is one of at least 24 tables covered with treasures of lives past. The Auctioneer has the microphone and the party gets started!
This lovely gentleman is a regular treasure hunter and local farmer in town who had his eyes set on the vintage accordion. After discussing in great depth with his pal on the value he got down to some serious bidding business.

Some of the flowers and food in this garden have gone to seed or root year after year since the 1930’s. Every plant and tree holds it’s own story; a rose planted by my great grandmother, fruit trees cared for by aunts and uncles, an asparagus patch tended by 4 generations of women…
